Two-way MYOB sync, what changes for you

Quotes, invoices and payments now flow both directions between Trak and MYOB Business. Here's what's live and what to expect from the migration.

We’ve shipped the next stage of the MYOB integration. As of this release, quotes, invoices and payments sync both ways between Trak and MYOB Business. No more re-keying invoices in two places.

What’s new

Quote to invoice flow. When you approve a quote in Trak, the resulting invoice now appears in MYOB automatically with the right tax codes, account allocations, and customer record. Payment received in MYOB? It flows back into Trak and the job’s status updates.

Customer record sync. New customers added in either system show up in the other. We match on email first, then phone, then name as a last resort. If we can’t confidently match, we flag it for you to review rather than creating duplicates.

Bulk reconciliation. For businesses with months of historical data sitting in MYOB, there’s now a bulk reconciliation tool that matches your existing MYOB invoices against Trak jobs. Most businesses get to 95%+ matched in a few minutes.

What to do

Existing users with MYOB connected don’t need to do anything. The new flow is on by default and the historic data stays untouched.

New users connecting MYOB for the first time will walk through a short setup where you pick which Trak job types map to which MYOB accounts. The defaults work for most trade businesses.

What’s next

QuickBooks parity is next on the list, same two-way flow, same matching logic. We’re aiming for early Q3.
